Our unique conference venue in Regional Victoria, set on two acres of Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus allows delegates to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in their conference. Being only an hour’s drive from Melbourne, guests can enjoy regional Victoria without the need to travel far.

A secluded setting
Located behind Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus, the Estate sits in tranquil, secluded surrounds, with expansive grounds. A true escape, the views are serene, and the grounds include a 5 km walking track, lakes, tennis courts, manicured gardens, expansive lawns and an outdoor heated pool and spa. Although the setting is hidden away, the Estate is just 20 minutes from the Geelong CBD.

Learn to Surf
Take a break from conferencing and book your delegates in for a surfing lesson at one of Go Ride A Wave’s many locations (Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne). Not only is it great fun, it is a great opportunity for interactions between your conference guests.

The Great Ocean Road
Since you’ve found yourself at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, take a trip down the coastline. If you’re cut short for time, head to Anglesea and stop at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie. If you’re in need of a full day activity for your delegates, venture down to the 12 Apostles, stopping at places like Lorne, Apollo Bay or head inland and explore the Otways and enjoy the many forest walks.
