The Express Bistro menu is perfect for lunch, dinner, or those moments in between.
Available between 11am – 7pm Monday to Friday (last orders at 6.45pm).
Our Bistro menu is served in our Barrabool space, Bistro or on the Terraces, depending on venue availability. Our friendly team will advise you where to go on your arrival.
The Estate’s Express Bistro menu is available to anyone who would like to join us.

When is the Express Bistro Menu available?
The Express Bistro menu is available between 11am – 7pm, Monday to Thursday (last orders at 6.45pm) and 11am – 4pm on Fridays.
Does the Estate have room service?
Waurn Ponds Estate does not offer room service, however you are welcome to take your Express Bistro order to your room.
We have a range of snacks available to purchase at reception, including Chappy’s Chips and Tony’s Chocoloney.
We also have hampers for purchase at reception, with various inclusions.
Can I come and eat at Waurn Ponds Estate if I am not a guest?
Yes, of course. Everyone is welcome to join us for our Express Bistro menu at the Estate.
Maybe you want a quiet spot for a work lunch or meeting, are working on Deakin’s Waurn Ponds Campus, or are visiting someone at the Epworth or Anam Cara.
We welcome walk-ins. You are also welcome to call us on 03 5227 3000, or get in touch with us and we can reserve you a spot.
Does the Estate have a restaurant?
We do not have a traditional restaurant, but serve our Express Bistro menu in one of our venue spaces, depending on the weather and availability. This could be our Barrabool space, Bistro, Pool Terrace or Lounge.
Our friendly staff will advise you where to go when you arrive, and can assist you with placing your order.
Are drinks or coffee available with the Express Bistro menu?
Yes of course, we have barista made espresso coffee and soft drinks available for purchase at reception.
We also have a full beverage menu available to purchase.
The Estate’s bar is open on request for conference and event bookings.
Does the Estate serve breakfast?
Breakfast is an optional addition to accommodation bookings at Waurn Ponds Estate and is served in our Barrabool event space from 7.30am – 9am on weekdays and 7.30am – 10am on weekends.
Breakfast is served to Estate guests only.
