Three Ideas for a Corporate Retreat Agenda

Corporate Retreats

You may have noticed your team’s morale is down, productivity isn’t as high as expected and your employees are lacking in creativity. The opportunity to step away from day-to-day work can be the perfect pick-me-up for your team.

A Corporate Retreat can be extremely beneficial to your team. It is important not to jam pack the agenda and allow for breaks and mindfulness experiences. Here, we have come up with three ideas to incorporate in your retreat agenda.

Health & Wellbeing Session

Slow the pace down with a yoga or pilates session, add a mindful meditation hour in one of our beautiful outdoor locations or relax and unwind with a massage from a trained professional.

Alternatively, you can get the blood pumping with a group personal training session to help your team let go of physical tension and develop self-awareness.

Another very fun way to get everyone moving is with a few games of giant inflatable foosball on the lawn.

As well as being personally beneficial for your employees, health and wellbeing sessions will allow your team to refresh their mind and body and in turn give them a new energy to refocus on future.

Motivational Speaker

If you are looking to drive change within your team or if your employees are in need of a boost of motivation, you should consider adding a motivational speaker to your retreat agenda.

Motivational speakers help promote fresh ideas which will encourage your employees to see from a different perspective and assist them with thinking outside the box. A good motivational speaker can also spark energy and inspiration to a team that is lacking in those areas.

Free & Fun Activities at the Estate

Sometimes the best activities are the easiest ones to plan! Around the Estate we have several different locations where games can be enjoyed; from board games to table tennis, you’ll always be able to find something to do.

Swimming

Start the morning off with a dip in our beautiful, solar heated pool or spa where you can take in gorgeous views of the Estate.

A Spark of Competition

Located in our indoor public area we have a pool table where a friendly tournament can be arranged. If you want to step up the intensity, make your way over to our tennis and basketball courts where you can test your team’s skills in a round robin of doubles matches or some one on one action.

Lawn Games

Finish off the day with a few different lawn games. The Estate can provide you with Giant Jenga, Finska and Bocce.

Tea Breaks in the Garden

Take a break from the walls of the conference room and enjoy morning or afternoon tea in the kitchen garden. This is a great way for your team to refresh and prepare themselves for the next activity.

Tech-Free Zone

Unplug and unwind! Invite guests to a tech-free zone, whether it be pre-dinner drinks with no phones, or a catering break where staff aren’t checking emails. Take the time to encourage your team to unplug, reminding them about a healthy work-life balance.
