Welcome to The Apartment at Waurn Ponds Estate, a self-contained, two-bedroom apartment with a private entrance.
The Apartment is newly renovated and boasts two king bedrooms, open plan living and dining, fully equipped kitchen, luxury bathroom and spacious terrace overlooking the Estate’s grounds. With a dedicated parking spot, private entry and self-check in available, The Apartment is the perfect getaway in Geelong.

Heat & Eat Meals
Let us do the cooking. Enjoy our delicious Waurn Ponds Estate meals, delivered to your apartment with instructions for heating.
Some of the rotating dishes include Butter Chicken with Saffron Rice, Pho Bo, Beef Lasagne and more. Contact reception to find out the dishes currently available to order. 4 days notice required.
In-Room Dining
We have a range of hampers and platters you can pre order to have ready in The Apartment at arrival, or purchase from reception during your stay.
We also have a large selection of local wines that can be added to your booking, and barista coffee and snacks are available to buy at reception.
Self-Check In
The Apartment is unique in that it has it’s own private entry, reserved car park and self-check in.
Check in is available via lockbox, with a code provided to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. You are welcome to attend reception as normal to check in if you prefer.

How to find The Apartment
From Pigdons Road, enter Alfred Deakin Drive (Entrance 1) and turn left at the first roundabout onto Nicol Drive South. Follow this road to the very end until you reach the entrance to Waurn Ponds Estate, which will be on your right-hand side.
After you have turned right at the Waurn Ponds Estate sign, follow the driveway all of the way around the building until you see the sign for The Apartment which will be on your right. Park infront of the garage (garage is not available for use)
There is a lock box at the front door to access your key. The code for the lock box will be shared with you via email 24 hours prior to arrival.

Venues
The Estate has a range of indoor and outdoor venues to suit any occasion. Our Barrabool space can cater for up to 100 guests seated or 200 cocktail, while our gorgeous Bistro is perfect for smaller events. The Kitchen Garden, Lawn, Pool Terrace and our expansive Lounge are also all available for event bookings.
Catering
The Waurn Ponds Estate team can assist you with any event, including an afternoon tea grazing table in the Kitchen Garden, a sit down banquet in our Barrabool space or a cocktail party in the Bistro or Lawn.
Our talented chefs have created a range of delicious menus. Using seasonal ingredients, our dishes showcase the best of what the region has to offer.

How many bedrooms does The Apartment have?
The Apartment includes two spacious king bedrooms, each with a desk and wardrobe. Beds can be twinned on request.
The Apartment sleeps 4 + 1 cot on request.
Do the bedrooms have ensuites?
The Apartment has one bathroom with a large walk in shower, toilet and vanity. Please note there is no bath at The Apartment.
The bathroom is newly renovated and serene, and stocked with luxury products and towels.
Is there a laundry in The Apartment?
The Apartment includes a laundry downstairs off the foyer, with a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and laundry detergent.
Do you offer room service at The Apartment?
The Estate does not offer traditional room service.
Breakfast is served in our Barrabool space, however you are welcome to take your plate and coffees to your room.
The Estate does offer a range of hampers, drinks and snacks you can purchase at reception to have delivered to your room. See our in-room menu here.
The Apartment also has it’s own exclusive in-room dining menu, including Breakfast Pantries and Heat & Eat meals. Explore those packages here.
You are also welcome to utilise one of the many food delivery options in the area.
Is there a housekeeping service at The Apartment?
Housekeeping will complete a full service of The Apartment every fifth day between 10am – 12pm.
Additional service is available at $75 per service.
Additional towels and amenities are available from reception throughout your stay if required.
How many people can stay at The Apartment
A maximum of four adults + one baby or young child who sleeps in a cot can stay at the Estate’s Apartment.
The Apartment has 2 king sized beds that can be twinned on request and 1 cot available on request.
Are children welcome at The Apartment?
Children are welcome to stay at The Apartment.
King sized beds can be twinned at $40 per stay, or we have a cot with fitted sheet and blanket available at $20 per stay.
There is a highchair available in The Apartment.
Is breakfast included in Apartment bookings?
Breakfast is available to add to Apartment bookings at $35 per person for each morning. Breakfast is $20 for children under 12 and free for under 5’s.

Is The Apartment accessible?
Unfortunately The Apartment is located on level one, allowing for fantastic views from the terrace.
The Apartment foyer is on ground level, with a set of gated stairs leading up to the main Apartment. There is no lift access into The Apartment.

What time is check in and check out?
Check in at The Apartment is available from 2pm.
Check out is at 10am.
Late checkout of 12pm is available on request (subject to availability) at $75.
